After a stroll along the sandy Ilsan Beach, visitors can eat fresh sashimi and watch the ocean at the Ilsan Sashimi Center. After lunch, visitors can walk in the pine forest along the Solbaram Course in Daewangsan Park. You may see cherry blossoms, camellia, hydrangea, and red spider lilies, depending of the season. Seuldo Island is beautiful around sunset with the glow of the setting sun. After having dinner near the island, visitors can go to the Ulsan Grand Bridge Observatory to see the night views of the Ulsan Grand Bridge and the industrial complex. As the observatory is open until 21:00, visitors can enter around 20:00 to enjoy the night view of Dong-gu.
The course begins at Hwaeomchu Lighthouse, the largest in the Orient. One can appreciate the sound of the waves along the marine deck road towards Hwaeomchu Lighthouse. Seongkkeutmaul is a small mural village at the entrance of Seuldo Island. Watch the glow of the setting sun on Seuldo Island, strolling along the coast between the two lighthouses. The last destination of the Day 1 course is the Ulsan Grand Bridge Observatory to see the nightscape of Dong-gu. Take a photo to preserve the memory of the night view of Dong-gu. The Ulsandaegyo Observatory sells tourist souvenirs themed on major tourist attractions, as well as Gomi, Dori, and Mani, the tourism mascots of Dong-gu. Day 2
The Day 2 Course starts at Jujeon Fishing Village. Making rice cake using sea mustard, the specialty product of Jujeon, and sea rafting are available. As for meals, Haenyeobapsang (female diver dining table), the specialty food of the Jucheon Fishing Village, is recommended. In the afternoon, visitors can go to Daewangam Park, one of the major tourist destinations of Ulsan. You can walk along the trails lined with pine trees or coastal trails, see strange rocks and stones, and hear the waves. On Ilsan Beach, next to Daewangam Park, festivals and performances are held in the summer, and several restaurants are nearby for dinner.
